QUALIFICATION:
i) Intermediate or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board;
ii) A speed of 70 words per minute in shorthand in English and 35 words per minute Typing speed on typewriter or on computer.
iii) Computer literate in M.S. Office.
NOTE: Preference shall be given to the candidates who know Urdu shorthand at a speed of 60 words per minute and Urdu typing at a speed of 25 words per minute.

AGE: 18 to 25 years on 25-07-2011.
ELIGIBILITY: Both Male & Female candidates domiciled in any district of Province of the Punjab.

SR. NO. 96. (CASE NO.15-RE/2011) RECRUITMENT TO 313 PERMANENT POSTS (INCLUDING 06-POSTS RESERVED FOR DISABLED PERSONS, 16-POSTS RESERVED FOR MINORITIES AND 16-POSTS RESERVED FOR WOMEN) OF STENOGRAPHERS (BS-12) IN THE SERVICES & GENERAL ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT.
QUALIFICATION:
i) Intermediate or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.
ii) A speed of 70 words per minute in shorthand in English and 35 words per minute Typing speed on typewriter or on computer.
iii) Computer literate in M.S. Office.

AGE: 18 to 25 + 5 years general relaxation in upper age limit vide S&GAD letter No.SOR-I (S&GAD) 9-36/81 dated 04-06-2006 = 30 years on 25-07-2011.

2. In case large number of applications are received for post(s), short-listing of the eligible candidates will be done in accordance with the policy of PPSC.
3. Fax applications from in-country candidates, will not be accepted.
4. Down loaded application forms from our website will also be acceptable.
5. “N.I.C valid on the closing date for receipt of applications will be accepted. However in case of expiry of NIC depositing receipt of NADRA for new NIC will be accepted at the time of interview”.
6. Note: In case of change/deletion/addition in any column of the prescribed application form, the candidate would be liable to the rejection of his candidature.
7. The number of posts may be increased or decreased at any stage.
8. IMPORTANT NOTE: Candidates will be admitted to the written examination / test provisionally at their own risk subject to their being found eligible in all respects. On detailed scrutiny of the applications of the candidates declared successful in the written examination / test, if any candidate is found ineligible in any respect under rules, his / her candidature will be cancelled regardless of the fact whether he/she has appeared in the written examination / test or qualified therein. To avoid inconvenience, the candidates are advised in their own interest to make sure before applying that they fulfill all the requirements of the rules, relating to the post.
